The 2013 CAHS National Convention & Annual General Meeting - "The Big Five O" - will take place from 11 - 15 September 2013 in Ottawa - Gatineau. In preparation for this grand event, CAHS National has created some exceptional 50th Anniversary merchandise that is now available for pre-order at cahs.ca. Nominations for the 2013 Bill Wheeler Award are now open. CAHS Members are encouraged nominate any current or prior CAHS Member that fulfills the stipulations outlined in the Criteria for Nomination that was recently mailed to you. See below for more details on the nomination process and where to submit your form. Note that the deadline for nominations is 15 August 2013.

CAHS 50th Anniversary Merchandise Pre-Order

Orders picked up at the CAHS Convention in Ottawa in September will be free of shipping charges. For those unable to attend the Convention, exact shipping costs will be invoiced separately, and shipments will commence after the Convention.
All merchandise can be ordered through the online store at www.cahs.ca OR by submitting the hard-copy form available here. Members can also order by submitting the form included in your recent mail-out!
Payments can be made by cheque, credit card, or PayPal. The deadline for pre-orders and payments is 15 August 2013.
Bill Wheeler Award - Call for Nominations
The Call for Nominations for the 2013 Bill Wheeler Award is now open. The award was established in 2011, and CAHS Members are invited to nominate other CAHS Members for this award.
The Criteria for Nomination has been mailed to you in hard-copy and should be reviewed before making a nomination. To submit a nomination, you must fill out the Bill Wheeler Nomination Form and in 500 words or less, provide a letter of recommendation, including a brief biography detailing your nominee's involvement and commitment with the CAHS as outlined in the Criteria for Nomination, with emphasis on his or her participation and experiences with Canadian aviation history as it pertains to the CAHS.
