Researcher to Researcher

Does the name Fred Meilike ring a bell? Danielle Metcalfe-Chenail is trying to figure out who he flew a Fairchild 71 for in the 1930s out of Great Bear Lake. Most likely it was Mackenzie Air Service or Canadian Airways (he went on to become Captain for Canadian Pacific Airlines according to Larry Milberry). Any help would be appreciated! Please email her at info@daniellemc.com.

Michael McMurtrey of Carrolton, TX would like to offer his services to any other CAHS member looking for info on Cessna Cranes and Bobcats, which he has an extensive database compiled primarily
from FAA registration/airworthiness files and USAAF Individual Aircraft Record Cards. Please contact him at atskyking918@verizon.net.

John Haynes of Knoxville, TN is looking for information on his grandfather's Canadian pilot's license. His name was Charles Haines and died in a crash in August 1928 while with Jack Elliot's Flying Service. You can contact John at johnhaynes3500@gmail.com.

Gabriel Lafrance-Robineau is trying to reconstruct a historical record of SAR operations in Canada in terms of which airframes were used in what period of time. If you can help with his research, please e-mail gabriel.lafrancerobineau@forces.gc.ca.
