I am a self taught artist who mostly paints in acrylic and watercolor, but I also do larger mural pieces (24 to date!) in oil paints. I paint a variety of subject matter but specialize in aviation art. I had a lot of aviation connections early in life: I grew up behind the Regina airport where my aunt worked, and spent a lot of time lying in the field looking up in wonder at the beauty of flight. Also, my father was a navigator on a Lancasters with the Pathfinders in WWII.

Today I live in Ontario which is still home to many of the aerial workhorses I love to portray. This area is also rich in aviation history, which provides a great backdrop for my work. It is always an honour to bring a story from one of the elderly bush pilots or aviation buffs I have met to visual life.

My work has been featured in numerous publications, including Plane and Pilot, Flying Magazine, Woman Pilot, Canadian Aviator, and three of my paintings have been used for book covers.

One of my favourite projects involved working with Bob Noorduyn to design a cover celebrating the 60th anniversary of the first flight of the Norseman CF-AYO for the town of Red Lake, Ontario.

My paintings can be found in galleries, museums, aviation schools, as well as private and corporate collections internationally, including the Canadian Aviation and Space Museum in Ottawa. These works have also won a number of top awards at prestigious competitions, including The Horizons Of Flight, Artflight, and the American Society of Aviation Artists's International Aero Space Art Competitions.
